We stayed for a week at the chalet 2nd-9th March 2019 and it was delightful. Alexandra provided a continental breakfast every morning which was great before a day spent skiing. We returned to an immaculate and welcoming bedroom before spending time in the chalet's own swimming pool and sauna.Alexandra also provided a lovely cake when she knew it was my birthday....a lovely surprise.

Sweet.... single traveller given a twin-bedded room on room only basis. You can pay for breakfast which is taken in the building. Nice and spacious and clean. Tv showed BBC 1 and BBC 2. Good WiFi coverage. Fair sized swimming pool in basement plus sauna and steam rooms. Spar shop at bottom of hill in Lech. Plus a nice patisserie/coffee shop next to Hotel Gottard opposite the Spar. Bitter..... being 71 it took more than ten mins to walk to/from centre, say 15 mins. The road up to chalet is on an incline, had to make one or two stops to “look at the scenery”. However, when you turn right into the little road which takes you to the chalet, it is quite a steep decline so when the road is icy it can be quite hazardous. I had to ask hol rep to arrange for more grit to be put down. There is a rope handle to grab hold of. In the summer this would be no problem. There is a no 8 bus which I only saw twice in the morning. One at 8.55 am, the other at 9.10. The only bus I found for the return from Lech centre was at 4 pm which you need to catch up the hill after a full day’s skiing. No lift in chalet. I was on top floor (level 3). If you’re not fit when you arrive, you certainly will be when you come to leave. Evening meals would have to be arranged in Lech village. No facilities in chalet.

I visited Lech and stayed at Chalet Hilde. I had room nr 5 on the 2. floor. Small but cozy. It came with a very clean and modern bathroom. And with a huge balcony with a nice view of the village and the valley as well as some of the surrounding mountains. It had neither kitchen nor coffee-pot but a small fridge. Very peaceful. The only thing I didn't quite like was the bed. Big enough, sure, but the matress was somewhat inclined. Walk 5-6 minutes and you´re in the centre of the village. The lady who cared for us guests was very friendly and helpful! My room came with a simple but tasty breakfast, it had everything I needed.
