Ayf Palace

We had number 201. If you've been given one, you'd better go somewhere else. When we booked, we checked if there was humidity in the room and if it smelled damp, said no, it was fine. We needed a room for two with one bed, basically two beds connected into one, with a huge hole between the mattresses. In the morning, my back just wouldn't buckle because I was constantly falling down that hole. We asked from the evening if there was a room with one big bed, to which we were told that tomorrow they would see what could be done. Then night. The extractor in the room doesn't work and from the bath it goes straight to the room where the bed is, the humidity is present, but past that the horrible smell of the sewer that is standing in the toilet blows right into the area where the bed is, sleeping is impossible in this atmosphere, the feeling that you are sleeping in the street toilet. You open the window-- the noise of honking cars, and November in the yard-- cold. More of the cons : one robe for two, air conditioning not working, bedside light not on )) We weren't given another room this morning and we decided to move out. When we were evicted, they didn't want to give us the rest of the money back, they said it was a deposit and they wouldn't, but in the terrible conditions we were given to stay, we just couldn't! Not without the help of local friends, we still got the balance back, we certainly wouldn't have got anything back. In fact, such a horror should be apologized for by the hotel, not brazen! I don't know about the other rooms, the hotel building looks beautiful from the street, but in our case, that's the end of the upside.

Location of the hotel is not that good. However it is withing the walking distance to city center and biggest mall. There are only 18 rooms, nice and clean. Breakfast is with enough selections. Price is competitive.

A very nice place to stay in, with staffs are supper friendly and helpful (they cannot speak English well but really try to). The room that we got was different from it's photos but still a nice room with a small but beautiful balcony.
