Shah Palace Hotel

The location is exceptional in the old city, just steps from the fountain square. If you stay for a couple of days for tourism, the location is objectively ideal. The room is very large, a bit dated but still provides good comfort. Our suite overlooked the small square in front, near the "two doors" leading into the old city. Breakfast was average, but not special. The staff could be a little more available and friendly... often it feels like we are invisible😄 In any case, a pleasant stay.

We stayed 5 nights at the hotel during our visit to Bakü. It was very clean. Services were very good. Front desk personel was very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, Most of the visiting/touristing points are within walking distance.

Our family stayed at Shah Palace Hotel for 4 nights in March 2026. We will definitely stay there again because of its incredible location and the excellent restaurant on the 4th floor. We enjoyed 6 meals there because the food was outstanding. The building's main lobby is breathtaking and perfectly complements the hotel’s location right inside the walls of the Old City. You truly feel like part of history while staying there. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spotless, and we all loved the signature scent from the diffusers. Could you please share the name of this perfume? :) I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to experience local culture rather than staying in a soulless business hotel.
