Swan Hotel

This well priced, conveniently located hotel has wonderfully helpful staff, comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. The omelettes deserve a special mention.

During my short stay in Baku I slept at the Swan Hotel, located a few steps from the historic center. this hotel offered me a mix of comfort, a family environment and ease of travel thanks to its perfect location, I had everything within walking distance. the rooms are spacious and always very clean, the breakfast is very tasty. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. they satisfied all my requests for excursions even far from Baku and also provided excellent advice for making the most of the city. I think the price and quality are unbeatable.

If you want to save your nerves and time, it is better not to stay at this “hotel”. We booked a room with a balcony through Booking more than a month in advance. The view from the window was fundamentally important. Upon arrival, it turned out that the room was occupied. Instead, they gave me a tiny room with the same window, also dirty, and overlooking the air-conditioned roof of the neighboring building. At the same time, they insisted on canceling the booking. They promised to change the number every day, but they never did. The Internet practically does not work. The only plus is at least some kind of breakfast (an egg or an omelet + a couple of pieces of sausage, vegetables, bread and a couple of olives. And tea). Well, the location is not bad. Close to the embankment and the old town.
