Unique Village Resort

We recently stayed at Unique Village and had a mixed experience. The hotel is a charming, small property located right on the beach, offering a serene and picturesque setting. It’s a very quiet place, except for the noise from the air conditioning unit in the room, which could be bothersome. Our room was clean but quite outdated, though it had all the essentials we needed for our stay. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the room we booked through their website wasn’t available, and we were downgraded to a different room, which was disappointing. During our two-night stay, we encountered several issues. On the second day, there was no warm water, which made things quite uncomfortable. More concerning, however, was that on the morning of our departure, we discovered that all our cash had been stolen from both my wife’s and my wallets, along with some earphones and cards. When we woke up, we found the patio door slightly open, even though we had double-checked and locked it before going to bed. This led us to believe someone entered the room while we were asleep. Additionally, the hotel’s restaurant was very basic. The food wasn’t special and was quite expensive, which added to our overall dissatisfaction. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. However, they seemed overwhelmed when we reported the theft, which made the situation feel even more unsettling. Given the room downgrading, lack of warm water, the theft, the underwhelming restaurant experience, and the overwhelmed staff response, we cannot confidently recommend staying at this hotel despite its lovely location. Our experience left us feeling uneasy and disappointed.

We had been in Bahamas for 1 week and did visit Eleuthera, Nasseau, Harbour and Exuma. Unique Village was an amazing spot with well maintain and super clean rooms condition !! Amazing beach spot as this is the only hotel on this beach. We also had dinner at their restaurant, amazing fine cuisine !! We would strongly recommand for their staff, beach, rooms and nice sceanic view around the hotel at a very good deal price for bahamas ! We suggest arriving at North Eleutera airport, rent a car and visit the island. Make sure to make reservation for the car and hotel.

My husband and I went here for dinner since it's right down the road from where we are staying. We had the whole place to ourselves. Food was good but expensive. They have a nice bar but no drink menu. I wanted a mixed drink but don't have them often so it would have been nice to have a menu. The bartender listed off some drinks but it was hard to understand so I just told her anything tropical. It worked out ok :) I had the sticky ribs and my husband had the Bahama seafood platter. Both were tasty. I also ordered crab cakes, they were good but more cake than crab.
