Radisson Aquatica Resort Barbados

When I think of our stay in Barbados, I smile. It was really very nice! The lobby of the Radisson Hotel is covered, but otherwise open. The wind blows through, making it a bit easier for us, coming from the cold climate, to endure the unusual heat. In principle, the Caribbeans are very friendly, always in the mood for jokes, always up for a chat... The hotel is in need of renovation, that is true. There was quite a bit of sand in the pool. We never used it. There is no sun protection on the pool terrace. There were always enough lounge chairs/umbrellas on the beach. When it got a bit tight, the pool boy set up more. When we entered the room, I looked closely at the mattress; it was new. My husband examined the air conditioning; it was also new. The room was clean. I generally do not need more; it was okay for me at that price on this beach. The view was beautiful; we had balconies on two sides. There was also a coffee machine with pods and a refrigerator. We did not book breakfast. At the Radisson, I did not have the impression that I would get good coffee. In the morning, we walked 10 minutes along the beach to the Hilton and bought coffee and a small breakfast at the coffee shop there. There is also a microwave for the guests. Good coffee and a good breakfast are very important to me. During the day, there is a bar right next to the Radisson that sells good drinks and also great "fish bites." I can only recommend that. But the best part is the beach: Just as one imagines and wishes. Those who snorkel further in can also see turtles. In the morning, there are horses there, and tourists can also be led around on them a bit. It is the best beach. The sea at the Hilton is relatively rough. Summary: I want to go back to Barbados!

Breakfast at Radisson Aquatica Resort Barbados was absolutely excellent. The variety was great, everything tasted fresh, and the service was warm and welcoming. The omelette was extraordinary — perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and easily the highlight of the breakfast experience. Definitely one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had in Barbados.
