Holiday Inn Brussels Airport

From the outside the hotel doesn’t look that good, but inside they had a make over. Nice lobby and good rooms. Clean ans staff is very friendly. There is a shuttlebus to the airport.

Bad experience: Incorrect phone reservation by the switchboard operator: we had booked 2 rooms for 3 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 12. Result: Only 2 double rooms, for 1 adult and one child, and one adult alone. So, one bed is missing. No way to get a family room, nor an extra bed. No commercial gesture to offer us an additional room. Proposed solution: the 2 children in a 1.10m bed. Request for an extra blanket: impossible, the receptionist does not have access to the linen room. Furthermore, the hotel has very poor soundproofing. You can hear everything that happens in the hallway and the adjacent room. Bad experience.

Stayed here for one night as part of a Leger Tours holiday. Very nice and clean rooms, quiet and cool, Service in the bar for dinner was a but hectic, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Thank you.
