B&B Roseland

Very nice B&B with good access to Bruges. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, the property is ideally suited to those wanting a quiet stay within strolling distance of the city. The owner, Rose, is very welcoming and maintains the property to a high standard. A continental breakfast is included. We will visit again.

We stayed 4 nights with Rose and Roland. Their hospitality made us feel like home. Our room was very nice and clear. The breakfast was delicious with many choices. Every day they took us in the center with their car and then bring us home again at a time of our choise. Surely we would choose it again.

Although not centrally located, this B&B was very relaxed and we had the feeling we were staying in someone's home, not in a guest house. The hosts were very friendly. The shared toilet facilities were not a problem at all, and the breakfast was great.  But what really made our stay at Roseland special was the free bicycle loan. Bruges is so cycle-friendly, with many cycle paths, that it was a real joy to cycle in the city. We spent a happy leisurely Sunday cycling around Bruges and visiting the monthly book fair at Damme (a village along a canal a short distance away), as well as parking our bikes to walk around the city centre, avoiding bumping into the myriad other tourists.
