DE SU MERCED

We booked directly through the official website of Hotel Boutique Su Merced, choosing the double room because the photos showed a large room, with bathtub and features that were decisive for our choice. At no time does the description indicate that the images are merely illustrative. Upon arrival, we were accommodated in room 3, which is much smaller and completely different from the advertised on the site. When we questioned the situation at the reception, the receptionist informed that it would not be possible to change the room and that the photos from the site were only illustrative. However, this information is not included at any time during the booking process. We are on a honeymoon and this situation has made our experience quite disappointing. After the conversation at the reception, we sent a message to the hotel's official WhatsApp asking to talk to the manager to try to find a solution. The message was sent around 5 p.m. and, by the time of this evaluation, we have received no response. What disappointed us most was not only the difference between the announced room and what we actually received, but also the lack of transparency in the disclosure of the hotel and the absence of return in the face of the attempt to resolve the situation. I sincerely hope that the hotel will start using photos corresponding to each room category or at least clearly inform when the images are merely illustrative so that other guests can make their choice based on accurate information.

Centally located Hotel we had 3 nights stay. Supermarket is 5 min walk and some eating options as well. We mainly ate at the Cafe outside the supermarket good cheap options to eat. We had a bit of an issue with 4 of us arriving and different rooms. One couple had a huge room and the other did not. We did pay the same price. We questioned this but they indicated that the had limited capacity and other rooms were out with maintenance. Whilst we did not like the answer they did assist us in our room by getting a fridge so we could have some drinks ect. Probably confirm your room and size with them. The historical hotels generally have different room sizes as they can not be changed. Our standard room was still a reasonable size. We had good breakfast and nice quiet place to stay.

Beautiful place, very good breakfast, very courteous staff. The place is very beautiful, a place of visitation very rich in decoration, ceiling, floor, everything is beautiful!
