Presidente Hotel

I spent two nights in this hotel, which is in an excellent location, very close to the Church of San Francesco and just a few steps from the witches' market. Large and comfortable rooms, very comfortable bed. Good wifi. Nice bathroom with excellent toiletries. When I arrived, the safe in the room was locked, but when I called the reception, they immediately sent someone to open it. The staff in general was very kind and helpful. I used the hotel's laundry service, which was very fast and efficient, but quite expensive. The breakfast room is not very nice (perhaps under renovation), but the buffet offered an excellent selection. It is also nice that breakfast is served very early, I believe starting at 5:00 AM, to accommodate those who need to leave for the airport early or go on excursions. A hotel where I would stay again if I were to return to La Paz.

The hotel is outdated. The room is large, but the window is not sealed properly. Very loud by the street. The air conditioning smells bad. Breakfast was a disaster, only ham and cheese. No jam or anything similar. Not possible even upon request. The staff is absolutely demotivated. They stood in the corner and played on their phones. There was also some fruit and yogurt available. Positive point. Breakfast was available from 4 AM since we had to catch an early flight. 15 minutes to the gondola station. Close to shops. Stayed for 2 nights for the round trip.

Now looking dreary and unloved .The location is good but that's about it . Everything looks tired and a little delapitated could be cleaner .A shadow of it's former self
