The only reason to choose Pousada Hotel Maceio is because it is not exorbitantly expensive as almost all other options are. The rooms are basic and small but adequate. They come equipped with AC, but our´s struggled to make the place comfortable. The basic en suite bathroom was appreciated. The breakfast is pretty good and you can get coffee at all hours. The receptionists are conversational and nice. There are a few parking spaces in front. The hotel is about 1 block from the beach and close to some good restaurants. All in all, this place is fine, just rather basic.
