It is located in a somewhat decentralized area, in front of an unusable little beach and a sinister, abandoned large hotel. The staff does not speak English, not even the most basic words. The bed, a king size, has a high and comfortable mattress and would be perfect if it didn't have normal-sized sheets, which barely reach to cover the top side: the result is inevitably that during the night they uncover the mattress, with a hygienic result that is easy to imagine. The bathroom is a bit old, populated by alien hairs and in urgent need of cleaning from mold. The only positive thing is the breakfast, very varied with local and international offerings, of good quality.

Hospitality above and beyond. We really enjoyed being here during the July 5 World Cup when Brazil won against Japan. The hotel and staff was lit up with excitement which was contagious. The accommodations were nice and the bed was comfortable. The ac was out so we were given the option and room to sleep at the Ibis hotel next door. So we did. However, the restaurant food and drink was absolutely delicious. I had salmon with black rice and asparagus the first night and Caipirnhas the rest of the time.😉 The staff was so accommodating and kind to our group of five. In the neighborhood there are restaurants, local stores, and local transportation. Ubers were easy to get to the attractions in Pelourinho.
