Hostel Solar Dos Romanos

Old and poorly maintained Pousada. The room we had was horrible: just a sheet from below and a kind of fouta above, crumbling walls, old windows, furniture worn out by humidity, rusty fridge, noisy air conditioning, old TV on one channel and again with bad reception. Ah the welcome is with a smile but what a scam!! We had paid in advance for 4 nights and left without asking for our rest after the first night! Moreover it is very noisy and poorly insulated.

Great stay, super helpful staff, simple but clean and spacious room, satisfactory breakfast for the category, great location and the room with balcony was the "icing on the cake" to enjoy the movement safely.

Choose this place if you want to feel almost like home. We found a lot of kindness and courtesy. The breakfast is excellent, the room modest but it is located in the historic center of Pelourinho so the location is excellent. I would have no doubts and choose this place again if I were to return!
