Pousada Colonial

This Pousada is in a 300 year old house, located in Santo Antonio. To me this is the ideal neighborhood just a short walk from the Pelourinho where you'll find most of the sights and nightlife of Salvador. The standard rooms are a bargain, but have no windows. The premium rooms upstairs are much nicer with balconies and views. Staff is friendly and helpful. On the weekend a really great bar with live music opens up directly across the street.

On March, 2016, I reserved a room through booking.com for the 23rd Feb and check out on the 24th 2017. I found a better and much cheaper option however and had to cancel such booking. On the 8th of March 2016, a total of BRL 697.50 were deducted from my bank account. Since cancellation on booking.com was free, I asked the Pousada to refund the money back to my account. I have been sending emails since the 27th of January 2017, with bank details, et cetera and still I have not received a refund to date!! This is disgusting, I am glad I did not stay in such place, these people are only a bunch of thieves!!

We had a nice staying in Bahia. Go at The pousada colonial. I loved The decoration and interior design in rooms and commons Area; i enjoyed breakfast in The sunny balcony with juices and home Made cakes; receptionist are kind and prepared to face any issue you could have. I suggest rooms at high floor Everything nice but i will never forget The "carinho" feeling with The team. Thanks for The se very special days.
