Pousada Da Mangueira

Very basic hotel. Very rustic In desperate need of modernisation, painting and updating. The curtains in my room were dirty There was no lift and no offer of help with suitcases. The bed was comfortable and the shower was ok. There was a fridge and safe in the room. There was air con, a hair dryer and some toiletries The breakfast was ok with a reasonable selection of hot and cold foods, fruit, yogurts, coffee, juices, breads and pastries. Many items were uncovered at breakfast and as a result the birds were feeding and sitting on the food displays! This was not good! The hotel is in a good location, very close to the historic centre and many attractions. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. The WiFi was very patchy There was a small swimming pool

Maravillosa. Warmth of the staff, view of the Pelourinho. Highly recommended. Great location, free coffee and close to all the culture and hostelry of Bahia what more can you ask for? Oh, yeah, breakfast. Abundant and varied. Hug, Jorge, owner of the place.

Simple and cozy place, the guys of the reception ( Felipe, Claudio and Gabriel) super attentive, give various guidelines for tours and restaurants. Breakfast with options of fruits, drinks, cakes and cheeses. It was a beautiful experience. Well located, to know all Pelourinho on foot. Accessible price. I recommend and would return without problems.
