Pousada Porto Da Lua

This small-sized hotel has a beautiful view of the sea and the very long beach. Dozens of shops and restaurants are less than one hundred meters away. The rooms are furnished in a simple but functional way and are equipped with air conditioning. The bathrooms are more than adequate. Between the beach and the property, there is a well-kept area equipped with umbrellas and lounge chairs, which is pleasant and comfortable. The bar and restaurant are available to guests for hearty lunches, quick snacks, and cocktails of all kinds. Unfortunately, the sea in front of the hotel is not very suitable for swimming due to the rocks that emerge at low tide and which still represent a hazard even when the water level rises. You need to move a few hundred meters away, where access is easier. Keeping in mind, however, that we are on the Atlantic and there is always a bit of a swell.

We were very pleased to receive the Hotel Pousada Porto da Lua. Careful staff since the reservation. Always attentive and willing. Hotel well cared for and decorated with excellence. Walk in the sand, on a wonderful beach with natural pools and warm water. Well decorated room, bathroom with a great shower and soft bedding. Well located, safe, close to the village and the Tamar project. Excellent breakfast with several very fresh options and delicious cakes. In addition, they have a great restaurant with good options on the menu. We appreciate every moment and too much enjoy sleeping with the sound of the sea and the moon illuminating the wonderful sky. We thank all staff for the disposition and attention to the guests. We recommend.

Good guesthouse, good facilities, spacious apartments. The air conditioning leaves nothing to be desired, little capacity for the size of the room and the box should have support bars and banquets for older people. The restaurant serves good drinks and snacks at the beach service and the staff are very polite and attentive. But the beach, well, this one is horrible, just reefs. It is impossible to take a sea bath. You have to travel about ten minutes to the little Lord's Beach. Only possible place to take a sea bath or pick up uber to another place. All that who pays expensive in a foot of the sand guest house (more sure foot in the stone), does not want. Go to other beaches and say they're not many. The village is interesting, well cared for, good shops, safe and good food options.
