Hotel Porto Da Barra

Hotel very poorly maintained. Old furniture and cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. Very noisy air conditioning and very old towels. The breakfast lacks variety and the staff is a little rude to the guests.

We loved our room that overlooked the water, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff was kind and helpful to us foreign tourists. On weekends and holidays the street in front of the hotel is closed to cars - it's great for walking, running, and biking. The beautiful lighthouse is a short walk away. The area felt safe, including at night. There is a well stocked grocery store a couple of blocks from the hotel, and lots of restaurants nearby. We loved our stay in Salvador and in Barra!

Small hotel. We had an very big room! We are a couple, but we were very suprised with this big room. View at the beach and sea. The location is great. Straight at the boulevard. Many restaurants, good food.
