Hotel Iracema

Note 0 I went with my family including 4 children, we made the Reservation in August but when we arrived at the hotel in another year of 2024 we found that they had not made our Reservation, our Reservation was for 6 nights. On the day of our arrival they went to arrange the 3 rooms and said that after 2 days they would change us from apartment but they assured us that there was availability, on the second day I addressed the reception to know the numbers of the rooms we were going, it was the receptionist said that there was no availability and that we would have to leave the hotel, we are leaving for a walk and said that if we did not take out our bags they would themselves take out, we went back and took out our bags and we went looking for another hotel because we still had 4 days in the city, people the location of the hotel is very good but their disorganization is unparalleled, and hurt my family, it was a big embarrassment that we passed through, and even more with 4 children. I do not indicate this place to anyone and especially to families.

We went as a family and the two rooms had uncomfortable spring beds, low pillows, bathrooms with a bad odor coming from the drain, no full shower, the shower light didn't work properly, a deteriorated bathroom door that didn't close properly, room service only cleaned if asked, even if you leave the key, bad breakfast, thick, hard and dry tapioca, few options, lots of stairs for those who have difficulty moving around, it's difficult. Some receptionist with bad will. The outside tables smelled of cigarettes, as it is located next to a bar.

This is a very basic hotel. But here are some things that stood out: Breakfast had a good selection and a beautiful view of the ocean. The security, this place has excellent staff that are very helpful and honest. A guard saw my buddy leave his wallet out when they stored our stuff due to the fact that we showed up before check in, and he put it in the hotels strong box, when they let us know abiut it, everything was there.It is definitely not a luxury hotel but the staff make wonders with what they have to work with
