It was a unique experience, i.e. never come back. The bathroom has several problems: stumbling shower without stopping, broken shower, empty and spoiled dispensers, precarious air conditioning and nothing cordial. Breakfast is reasonable and the location is great, but not worth the price it charges.

Hotel in the center, good location. Old rooms. The hotel has no manager on weekends, I stayed from 6am to 2pm, and I couldn't talk to the manager. The shower did not come out hot water, there was no bathroom rug, the smell of ink from room 512 was strong. TV didn't turn on. On Sunday, I was switched to an even worse room, dirty, but at least the shower was hot. Hotel pretty ruined, but at least the location was good. Helper Daniela tried to solve the problems, called the maintenance 2 times. Good breakfast.

My stay at Hotel OFT San Marco was undoubtedly the worst travel experience I have ever had. The drama began right at the entrance. The plant that was supposed to compose the decor was in a deplorable state: dry, leafless and with an appearance more like a scenario of abandonment. The carpet at the entrance seemed to have exceeded its expiration date for decades – full of holes, poorly positioned, and with an air of total decay. Upon entering the reception, the horror continued. The wall behind the counter was taken by mold, something that already gave the tone of what was to come. The armchairs, if you can call them that, seemed to have come out directly from a horror movie. Stunned, they were an invitation to discomfort and concern for health. I understand the hotel is of the economy category, but I would never imagine finding a room in such precarious conditions. The bathroom ceiling was completely taken by mold, and to make it worse, there was no exhaust to ventilate the environment. The mould smell permeated the room, the hallway, and sometimes it seemed that even my luggage had absorbed that awful smell. The hallways were another spectacle of abandonment: the walls were marked by extensive infiltrations, reinforcing the feeling of complete neglect. The hotel atmosphere was so chaotic it seemed more like a post-apocalyptic setting. The only aspect that could hardly be reasonable was the breakfast. Simple and basic, but suitable for a budget hotel. However, that was not enough to mitigate the bad impression I had of the place. If you are looking for comfort, cleanliness or even the least care, I strongly recommend that you look for another accommodation option. The Hotel OFT San Marco was an experience that I hope never to repeat again.
