Plaza Inn Flat Araxa

Old hotel, no maintenance. Despite the large rooms, the decor is all in it is old. The air conditioning flooded the room at night and when I went to the bathroom in the morning, I slipped and fell and got hurt. In the morning there was no power in the city and the hotel had no generator for the use of elevators. I went down and up 9 floors, with my whole body hurt from the fall. The gym and pool they offered is only for hotel rating: very bad. I do not recommend.

Central position in the little downtown of Araxa. Our clean flat was about 35 mq with good forniture and a big bathroom. Very polite the staff. At the highest level there is a little gym and a very (very) little pool. Only the breakfast is not up to par. But, all things considered, promoted!

Araxá is a small town and business connected with miners and agriculture seems to be relevant. Most of these people stay at this Flat. It is not an old place, but it seems like it. There is no restaurant; it is not at all close to any relevant one, and expensive for what it offers. With a bit more you could go to Tauá Hotel, which was built as a casino. Two years later, when casinos became banished, it went to a steady decline. Recently refurnished, it got back its glamour. The Flat is not a dirty place, it is quiet, the service is ok, all well, but a bit "used" and expensive.
