I was extremely upset with the amount paid per day (R$ 800,00), because there is no minimum comfort in a hotel chain where even the basic is offered, such as: • In the bath, the rally was clogged, the box did not completely close and, with this, the bathroom became a real pool, with water leaking out; • The door of the bedroom presented problems: the key did not leave the trench, requiring an absurd effort to open or close; • Parking was in a place with the appearance of total abandonment; • The receptionist was unprepared (detail: we went out for dinner and, when we returned, we found the key to the room on the reception table, with no one around, exposing the guests to risks due to lack of security); • The double bed looks sized for a Cover of up to 1,60m — result: I spent the night with half my legs out; • The photos in the advertisement do not correspond to the reality of the guesthouse; • Of the 06 existing sockets in the bedroom, only 1 is still working in the old standard. Details, my wife went to use the own hair dryer that they provided, however, there was no compatible outlet; Anyway, I do not recommend and will never return to this hostel.

The guesthouse is close to Tiradentes Historic Center. We went with 2 children and made the walk to the center every day of the stay. We stayed in a very large chalet, with mezzanine, which accommodates up to 5 people. The cottage was very clean, it had comfortable beds, soft sheets, a good shower. The breakfast was delicious and had many options of fruits, breads, cakes, eggs, juices, etc. The staff are very friendly and provided guidance on the sights of the city. The guesthouse is quite large, has an area with pool, kids area, some animals like chickens and environments so that guests can sit and contemplate the space. Negative points: The room was very cold, even lighting the fireplace, the chalet remained frozen. The pool was unmaintained and got dirty throughout our stay. The surroundings of the guesthouse and the exterior need better maintenance. Despite the money being cut and the plants well taken care of, there is a lack of zeal in the kids area, with cleaning and painting. Wi-Fi does not reach the cottage and the TV only has open channels such as Globo and SBT.

To begin with there was No bar, even drinking water (other than tap) was unavailable and there was no mini bar in the room. Room service, forget about it! The Staff were generally rude and unconcerned about our well being. the Towels were not cleaned and aside from the breakfast in the morning there wasn't any other food available. The staff also lied to us about the Restaurants and bars being open in the area. In fact everything was closed as it was a religious holiday. They told us they would be open... The manager insulted my girlfriend numerous times and made her cry. She was very condescending and it was unbelievable to see how un- professional the lady was. It's a pity too because in the right hands and if a few adjustments were made, i would imagine this hotel could be brought back to life. They never told us we woul have to pay 70 reals to use the pool. This pool doesnt even have any special features... we also paid for massages. The guy was really nice but the massage area was cold and there was only one guy to service the entire hotel. To be fair the massage was a 3/10 and that's being nice. At least he seemed nice to us, that was refreshing. In terms of the location it was the furthest hotel from the square. A good 15mins walk. The night porter was strange too and difficult to communicate with, even my Brasillian girlfriend couldn't understand him. I was quite concerned for him actually Overall, it was a really disappointing experience and a real let down . I've stayed in all sorts of hotels but this is definitely not a 5 star hotel, it's not even a 3 star. The only thing going for it is the rooms have great potential, they would need regular maintenance from the staff though. The hotel could be improved greatly but unless there is a change in personnel I don't see this happening. We left feeling like we had been taken advantage of but to be honest I was so happy to just get out of there... Karl from Dublin, Ireland
