Slow Hostel

Worst hostel I've ever stayed in my life, old furniture, which makes noise when you move and seem to be going to disassemble at any time, bedroom, with the smell of mold and very poorly educated employees, has a bad coffee system where they serve the food and limit the amount of item to 4 being that a bread with egg already counts as 2 items, outside that the food is horrible, bakery dried cakes that seems to be la a week ago, the employees Lia and Noemi of the kitchen seem to be doing a favor in informing which options of the day, especially Noemi always faced with a nausea seeming that I was obliged there, treated me wrong several times. There was one day that I had available a terrible pamonha and canjica with a taste similar to vomiting where for education I still forced myself to eat almost half to not make disaster and still the next day came to draw my attention in front of other guests, in a super rude way, speaking super loud and embarrassing me, saying that would be charged waste rate, absurd! Besides the embarrassment they were still racist, because when I questioned pq they did not talk about the rate of waste for my roommate who every day left things left in the café Lia said: “Ah, to white little I didn’t even say no,” that is racist! Escape from this Hostel, total hole, better close with the Aoca Hostel which is right on the side and is much better or with the Hostel Tambaú, a pity that I only learned of these later. Slow Hostel do not recommend to anyone!

The hostel is beautiful, quiet, spacious and natural, the common places are very comfortable and cute. The girls and boys who work there are super friendly, they are always advising you places to go and meet both day and night. It is close to the center and just around the beach, the location is great.

Very good value for money, the room I stayed in was a private room for the family, everything was very clean and organized! The girl who welcomed us did not present us with all the necessary security details, when we returned late at night, we had problems entering the Hostel, but everything went well! I do recommend Slow, just to better train volunteers/employees and improve the administrative organization. I had already arranged the signal and sent proof via WhatsApp, but the girl who was at reception at the time didn't pay attention to this and wanted to charge the full amount, and I was informed that they didn't have parking on site (I left the car on the street) , the next morning I discovered that they did and there were spaces available, I don't know why they didn't provide this information (I don't know how much it costs to use their parking lot). I would definitely go back to the place and recommend it to my friends!
