Pousada Farol do Porto

The Pousada positively surprised. We found the room clean with new sheets. The staff are super kind. Very good breakfast. Perfect location in Puerto de gallinas, close to everything (Villa, beach, supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants,...), safe street, we did everything walking.

The room is small but serves well 2 people. Featured for the staff of the Inn, both the reception staff and the girls of the cleaning and breakfast are excellent, they made all the difference. The Inn is quite simple but is well located.

Worst accommodation I've ever had in my life. The location is ''ok'', but the street is deserted, there is a constant power outage, it floods. The hotel does not have parking. We chose this guesthouse due to a long period of travel and we were only going to stay for one night and if we had needed to spend more days we wouldn't have stayed. TERRIBLE service, the owner-manager was extremely arrogant towards guests and employees, inconvenient, and left the environment super unpleasant. We stayed on the top floor and it was like a horror movie, a narrow corridor, an unbearable smell, dirty rooms, very noisy (we could even hear the clanking of the dishes in the kitchen). There was no power and the sound of the generator made it impossible to rest. Breakfast without any variety, environment with flies. They tried to enter my sister's room 3 times (yes, they enter whenever they want and the keys open all the doors). Scary. I don't recommend it even for those who want "value for money".
