I had the opportunity to return to the hostel recently and would like to share my perception of the place, especially for those looking for tranquility and an impeccable structure.
The Good (Destaques and the "Momento Tabajuba")
The highlight remains the location and state of conservation. It is rare to find a guesthouse facing the sea where the rooms are so clean and, most importantly: zero mould smell.
Beach service: They offer chairs and sunbeds with sand bar service, which ensures a lot of comfort.
Gastronomy: Breakfast is delicious, but the big difference is the "Momento Tabajuba". Every day at 16:00, they serve a wonderful afternoon coffee with cake, coffee and tea. It is a touch of hospitality that makes all the difference in the stay.
Attention: The staff is extremely polite and the environment is very quiet, ideal for rest.
The Median (Points of Attention)
I noticed some changes since the hostel ceased to belong to the Ocaporã group:
Comfort in the room: I missed the espresso machine that was on my first visit. In addition, the available roupons are a bit small.
Parking: It is well ahead and functional, but the space is limited. In the low season it was quiet to park, but it is worth the alert for periods of maximum floating.
The Bad
The only reservation is for the new towel collection policy for external use. As it was a free service before, having to pay in part generates a small discomfort in the perception of cost-benefit.
Tips and Recommendations:
Do not miss the schedule: Plan to be at the guesthouse at 16:00 to enjoy the afternoon coffee; the cake is a must.
Baggage Logistics: As beach towels are now charged, consider taking yours to avoid extra costs.
Peace and Sossego: If you want to escape the noise of the center, this is the perfect location.
Verdict: Super recommend for impeccable cleaning, conservation note ten and for the affection of the afternoon coffee. It is an excellent choice to stand in the sand!

It is on the best beach in Porto Galinhas, has a restaurant at a good price and is close to the center.
The bad: breakfast is sometimes delayed and they don’t respect the start time (essential when you have an early excursion), no cream cheese, no beach towels, the towels in the room are sandpaper, very old. Even worse, the internet does not reach the entire property and is very slow.
He says he's only grown-ups but they let people from outside go with babes to the beach club and the restaurant, which is ironic,

This hotel could be so much better given its amazing beach and great location, but the staff and management team need better hospitality training, more attention to detail and better bedside manners. Several things need to be improved:
1- We found a cockroach in the bathroom on our second day. There was a dead one in the balcony when we arrived and it was not cleaned up during our stay.
2- Towels and sheets were lightly stained and the shampoo/conditioner combo smelled like sewer. The shampoo container was old and broken. There was a clothes line in the bathroom that didn't retract, so my tall husband kept hitting his head on it.
3- The window in the room didn’t lock. There was a handle but the lock was missing.
4- The stairs to the beach have uneven steps and some planks are loose and crooked, hard for people with mobility issues to get around.
5- They need to clean the beach in front of the hotel. They also didn’t take good care of the beach right in front of their hotel. We found lots of plastic wrappers, utensils and cups right where they put their beach chairs. Also, they say they offer service at the beach but we rarely saw anyone come around.
6- Food takes forever to arrive. We had lunch at the hotel one day and the food took more than 1 hour to arrive. Three people came over at different times and said “it’s coming”, which was a lie because the food took another 30 min to arrive once they realized it was taking a long time and decided to check-in. When the food finally arrived, the rice was cold, steamed vegetables were soggy and cold, the chicken was rubbery. They comp’ed one of the meals, which was nice but the whole experience was a disaster.
7- The breakfast buffet was ok. Servers shouted from the restaurant to tell the kitchen what needed to be replaced. There were flies on the cheese and cold meat. That could be solved by putting them into a cold case or putting a cover on it. The tapioca came out cold and undercooked, so I put it into the sandwich maker for proper cooking.
8- Bartender was too pushy. My husband ordered a drink one night and the bartender kept insisting that I should try another drink even after I said several times that I wasn’t interested. NO means NO!!!
9- The servers are mostly young and seem untrained. Everyone runs around like they're in a hurry and don’t know what’s going on. That gives the hotel a stressed and anxious vibe.
Overall, we had a bad experience. The only thing that saves this place is the beach right in front of it.
