Dorisol Recife Grand Hotel

We booked 8 prepaid nights online. When we arrived the nightmare started. 3 elevators. Only 1 working and not very well. We had to go to another floor to call it because it wasn't working in our floor... Based on comments here it has been like that for months or years. AC not working. Rusty minibar. Disgusting bathrooms with 0 amenities. The beach near the hotel is dirty. Some locals are fishing just near you so it is dangerous to go in the water. The swimming pool water was green and smelly. The breakfast was like the rest. Really bad. The only working elevator is hyper dirty. Check the pictures. The valet parking takes your car and then you have to wait between 10 and 45 min for him to give it back to you when you need it. All was so bad that we decided to take our losses and go to another hotel... Do not go there.

The hotel desperately needs update in ALL aspects. I had a really bad experience whilst staying there. From lifts not working, horrible and dated room, dark corridors, dark lifts with a suppose panoramic view, atendents that could not answer a phone call in English which caused me loads of trouble and very average breakfast on a outdated atmosphere.

The sea view is amazing. I stood in a suite at the 14th floor, and it was a great choice. The room is large, but everything needs care. The breakfast is poor. They charge for the parking. Internet is free and fine.
