Mercure Apartments Metropolis

To get bad, you have to improve a lot! It looks like a flea. Terrible service! Horrible location! Spoiled food for breakfast! Smelly bedding! Dirty towels! Fifth-rate motel soaps!!!

Not located in the most touristy area of Recife, however it is in a central location between the centre and Boa Viagem beach. Taxis available at minutes notice. The reception was friendly too. The breakfast is of Brazilian standard, not bad. The rooms are spacious with a separate ling room from the bed room. A little kitchenette is provided too.

If you don´t mind staying away from the beaches, this Mercure hotel is a great option for a short stay in Recife. It is well-located in a quiet part of the city and you can easily get to any neighborhood or district from there. Rooms are spacious, sleep is good and so is the shower (my two key issues with hotels). I would stay again and recommend it.
