We did not respect the arrival time of the guests, we knew that we could not enter before the established time (14hs), but we arrived at the guesthouse at 14:40 and the room was not released, we complained and the manager said that we could leave if we were not satisfied. Local is careless, is beautiful, has an incredible potential, quiet, beautiful beach and "private". The collaborators Tatiana, Yasmin and Josi treated us very well, but the manager Marcelo is arrogant, prepotent and superb.

The hotel is situated right on the beach a few hundred meters before you reach Ponto Leiste. It consists of about two dozen beachfront appartments, that all have balconies with hammocks and superb views over the sea. Even if you close the doors, you can hear the waves while sleeping which is awesome. However, the apartments (as the whole complex) are in a bad state: 30 year-old furniture, washed-up walls that haven't been painted for ages and a disgusting looking pool. There is a private beach, which is nice, but the complex itself obviously had its best days in the 70s/80s. Since then there hasn't been much maintenance or improvement, the place basically feels and looks like being financially exploited until it'll be closed one day. Rates include standard breakfast and dinner buffet. Drinks and snacks are reasonably priced and available troughout the day. Everything is paid for upon checkout (I highly recommend double-checking the final billing since they tried to charge us several items we didn't consume). After all, I definitely wouldn't stay for more than 2 nights. Please note, that there is basically no one who speaks English. The hotel is a bit isolated, but they offer daily boat trips and diving excursions. However, I would rather recommend staying at nearby Ilha Grande directly.

The place is very beautiful, scenic views, diving excursions every day. However, the owner lives in Portugal and has assigned a Portuguese manager who does not pay any attention to the comfort and minimum quality of service. There was no water in the wc of our room from Saturday night until we left at lunch time on Sunday and no solution was provided. That was the most seriou of several little problems we had. It is urgent to provide training to the housekeeping and star an effective supervision of the service provided. We hope they take care of these problems because the place deserves it
