Suites do Cabo Estrela do Mar

The place is amazing! I felt in love with the city also thanks to that guesthouse we've stayed at. It's spacious, very comfy and just enough for 5 people we were. We loved hanging out on the terrace, we used the kitchen to cook, there was a view on stunning see from the balcony, and two bathrooms! Everything was perfect, quality was very high! We were surprised to discover there was a cost of 100 reais added to our (already expensive) reservation for 'cleaning costs'. This hasn't been advertised anywhere and we had to pay it even despite the fact we only stayed one night. There was no breakfast included either. But other than that it was lovely!

good location, close to beach, bus station and supermarket. Room was big and comfortable. We booked triple room and got and tofamily apartments with own kitchen. Breakfast was good enough. Cons: Girl at reception could speak only portugues. Room has no window, only closed balcony.

There was no matress - it was just a bed base. Woke up ever few minutes to rollover. After the second night we cut our losses and moved out. Wasnt very clean, hair on the pillows and on the floor. Bathroom smelt. location was poor, stay in another place either side and you will be much closer to one of the beaches. It was off a back alley way and didnt seem super safe. On the plus side the staff were really friendly and always around. Also it was cheap, R$100.
