Buzios Ariau

The ARIAU Hotel in Buzioshotel is old and the maintenance was very poorly done, the wireless system is not good for the inside of the rooms, with leaks and bathrooms with the smallest shower cabins i ever been to, the elevator doesn't work since the 90's. Rooms on first floor smell like mold and cheap deodorizer. Staff is all right but sauna was broken- with a sign on its door, the food is terrible, too many employees and noisy. The manager lives in the hotel with his kids and the lobby TV monitor is always showing loud Japanese cartoons and the children are frequently in the hotel entrance, running up and down. The location could not be worst, isolated and far, with so many hotels near the city, this one stays in the city's entrance and catches many unwarned travelers. Once in the inside, the rooms face a windy part of the beach that is sometimes hard to enjoy given its continuous winds and lack of waves, but still good for wind-surfing. The city of Buzios is full of good hotels, and wonderful beaches, this Ariau is a no, no!
