Pousada Mandala

I was in Búzios in Rio de Janeiro and chose this guesthouse for the wonderful location, but I did not look at the reviews and when I arrived it was another reality Two good things in the hostel Mr from the reception that I forgot the name now but very helpful. And the incredible location close to the center where everything happens and the motorway as well. Poor points: breakfast with few options, towels with a bad mould smell that also looked like a bad smell of cigarettes, the side of the mattress sinking, air conditioning, fan and fridge bar made a lot of noise, sheets with stains, toilet vases also with stains. In general look of carelessness with everything. And yet rules if you dirty sheets or towels with protector, makeup and others apply fine. With punishment if they deliver everything stained?

Bad, bad service, they don't clean the rooms, as everyone says the only good thing is the location. Bad treatment from most of the staff. Very basic breakfast. We stayed a week and never changed the sheets. And the towels because we asked.

My mother, Malu Rodrigues, stayed at the Pousada from 01/02/24 (check in) to 02/14/24 (check out). She is a lady and was very well received, with all the necessary care. The staff team is very competent and attentive! The location is excellent, in the center, close to Rua das Pedras.
