Pousada Mar a Mar

Excellent location Central Good breakfast with Northeastern products .The pool and the garden wonderful With trees and tropical plants .The room comfortable but not bright .Everything works although it is seen to be ancient The staff very friendly .The decor is typical

Everything was wonderful, only the Wi-Fi signal was terrible, the cable TV also didn't work due to poor internet at the inn Other than that, everything was perfect, amazing breakfast, close to Rua das Pedras and all the beaches, private parking next to the guesthouse

I love Buzios and often go there. Some years ago I decided that the best place to stay is "downtown" Buzios because during the day you want to visit as many beaches you can (so no use staying near one, you´ll have to drive anyway) and at night you want to enjoy the lovely restaurants and shops the city offers. Following this line of thought, Pousada Mar a Mar is very well located even though it lacks the wonderful views you can get at other places. It has a small pool and outside shower which are very convenient when you come back from the beach and plan on staying with your bathsuit on to have lunch or walk around. Breakfast is simple, wifi and tv correct. Staff nice and helpful. Of course it is a low budget, no fancy hotel but it fulfills what is expected of it. .
