Pousada Casa de Paraty

The setting is idyllic. The street is ordinary, then once you enter the pushada, you are in a small cocoon of sweetness and calm. Everything is beautiful, and elegant. White dominates to bring light and softness. Full and large bathroom. Nice bedding. Connected TV with Netflix. Quality Wifi. Breakfast is a wonder, with a staff with little care, who cooks at your convenience, and with quality. The juices pressed minutes, a delight. The dishes are not the same every morning , a sign of great elegance and good taste. The addresses of the sites to visit, a success, enhance your stay. Jo, is a great quality host, always there to inquire, with a smile. Thank you, and thank you again for this wonderful stay.

Very comfortable guesthouse, the accommodation I stayed quite spacious, beautiful and very well decorated. But two important observations: garage is very narrow if any of the 3 cars is a little bigger! You have to keep pulling and putting car and matching time to arrive with the other guests... The space where coffee is served is beautiful and individual but with very few options for the value that is charged and the expectation that we create!! But in general we liked quite especially the general space of the house!!

In fact, I share the impossibility of proceeding with the reservation. The owner, Jô, did everything she could to make us cancel and I think it's prudent to share her arguments. 1) Booking for a holiday through Booking and a bonus ended up coming in (according to her, not applicable for holidays) due to the type of users we are and this difference of 200 reais she complained a lot. 2) The inn at no time informs that it does not accept children and as I have a 1 year old baby (a 100% supervised child) she argued that it does not accept children under 9 years old, as they “break” things in the inn (??? ??) 3) Her religion prevents her from working from sunset on Friday until the sun sets on Saturday, so during this period we do not have assistance or breakfast on Saturday. I've never seen anything like this. I think it's important that everyone is aware because this place shouldn't even be commercialized. We felt offended by so many attempts to boycott us and so we did, we cancelled, but not without sharing who you will be dealing with. I wish good luck to anyone who takes the risk
