Nice building. Quite clean. Well located. Had some trouble with the mattress but they were Nice and proactive and change it very quickly. Also the bathroom had a roof problem and rain filtered inside. However all the staff was lovely and willing to solve out any problems. Breakfast was good. Despite this issues we recommend it. Good price.

We stayed in the hotel just one night. We couldn't pay by card, the staff told us only cash. The room in which we stayed was very dirty, seemed like no one cleaned the floor for weeks. Staff spoke very poor English. Positive things: wi-fi in the room and good breafast.

Stayed 2 nights clean but very basic guest house. Location good on the edge of the historic centre and near to the very good bar restaurant Paraty33. Price competitive but no aircon a big minus with night time temperatures of 30°+.. Breakfast was average and staff not very interested but overall good if on a tight budget.
