I stayed at Hotel Astoria Copacabana in the second half of 2025. The breakfast was well served and varied. The location is excellent — it is practically in the face of the goal, a few meters from the beach of Copacabana, and is also relatively close to the Christ Redemptor, which makes it quite easy for those who want to take advantage of the city's main sights. The hotel itself is reasonable, within what is expected for the category and region. Another point that made me calm during the stay was the enough police in the area, which brings an extra sense of safety to walk around, especially at night. In addition, the police came to the hotel in the morning and were invited to have breakfast, which brought even more sense of security, since there were some bored discussing in the vicinity at that time.
