Atol Das Rocas Apart Hotel

The view from this hotel is a true work of art. Close to the beach and shops. Totally cozy hotel, cozy rooms, breakfast in direct contact with nature and the smell of the sea. I highly recommend it and I'm already planning my next stay in July... Looking forward to the day of this wonderful experience.

If you are looking for luxury this is not the hotel for you, but if you are looking for a well-located and comfortable place close to everything, it is worth the stay as it is simple but cozy. The hotel is close to convenience, supermarket, beach, restaurants, craft shops, pharmacy, car rental shops, Marazul tourism agency (considered the best in Natal/RN) all very close and you can do everything on foot, but There are some other points that need to be analyzed before staying here. I thought a lot before making this assessment because I don't want to harm anyone, but I think it is extremely necessary to talk about some points about Atol das Rocas, even to help them, as I believe that managers are not aware of some things. Before choosing this hotel, I noticed that they had some complaints and among all the complaints, what I noticed in person is that the staff who work in the kitchen need URGENT training and the hotel needs maintenance!! Both the girl who serves breakfast (a short brunette with short straight hair) and the cook need training. The attendant is extremely unfriendly, not helpful and short and rude, during the days I stayed she was not kind at any time, apparently she seemed to be dissatisfied with the work and consequently did not serve us well, we all like to be treated well and For those who work in customer service, it is extremely important to be friendly and welcome, especially in the hospitality sector. The cook needs to learn how to cook, even a simple tapioca came completely raw and cold. The juice looks like it hasn't been shaken and is weak, the bread isn't new (I don't know if the hotel produces it or buys it) but from the days I stayed at least 2 days I got old bread and new bread is something basic for a cafe hotel morning. I don't know what happened to the coffee that some days came with powder and others without and I also missed having a toaster for us customers to make a mix. Apart from these points mentioned, the other breakfast foods were delicious, there is a delicious banana cake, croassaint, several fruit options, there is even a fruit tray with bananas, pears, grapes, apples for us to help ourselves as we wish. . But what surprised me, besides the poor service in the kitchen, was the lack of professionalism of the café staff. Do you believe they were sleeping in the pool area during working hours in an environment for us customers? It was on that day that I realized that they really need training for yesterday. Regarding maintenance, I had a problem with my key, when I arrived at reception the receptionist was unable to make a new key because the machine was not able to make a key, he had to go to my apartment to open it with a master key and leave the key hanging for me. The next day maintenance would check as the only machine in the hotel had a problem. Furthermore, the next day I managed to make my key and I didn't need to reactivate the key again until the day I left. About the apartment, I stayed on the first floor and I didn't like the cleanliness. The bathroom didn't seem to be washed, it smelled of pee, the beds seemed to be made in any way, the sheets were falling (it didn't look like hotel room cleaning), the room smelled of mold, I really didn't like the cleanliness of the apartment where I stayed. Other friends of mine stayed last month at Atol but on other floors other than the first and they liked everything about the apartment, but unfortunately they didn't pay enough attention to the cleanliness of my apartment. Now let's go to the positive points: The other employees are very receptive, always with a smile on their faces wishing us a good morning and asking if we needed anything. The cleaning guy Isaque is very helpful, a great employee who, despite being ASG and taking care of cleaning, asked us if we wanted help carrying our luggage. The people at the reception are helpful, always willing to help us and treated us with great politeness and agility, we were well received from start to finish by all the reception staff. We can also buy drinks and consume them in the pool area, which is great for those who want to save money, the minibar is not stocked so we can buy whatever we want to refuel our way. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the duvet was a little thin and on the first day we were cold but soon after we adjusted the air and slept comfortably. There is pool towel rental for just R$3.00, a very fair price, at the hotel I stayed at in Pipa the rental cost twice as much. I can't comment on the internet as I used my 4G throughout my stay. An additional suggestion is to put a playground in the garden for children, it would be an added attraction for parents. Furthermore, even with the negative points, I would stay at this hotel again as the positive points outweighed the negative points.

I stayed from 11/07 to 11/15, and then from 11/18 to 11/23. Simple but extremely cozy hotel, sensational staff, I wish I could mention everyone's name, but in order not to forget anyone, I would like to thank the entire team. Clean and organized rooms, fragrant bed linen and towels, sensational sea view, really close to the beach. Simple breakfast, but more than enough, freshly made tapioca, delicious. As a suggestion, I would just let them put a sandwich maker (toaster) in the coffee room, as I missed it to make a hot mix in the morning. And in the bathroom, a small clothesline would help a lot, I used the balcony to dry clothes hahaha, but the clothesline in the bathroom would be interesting. Gratitude to the entire team who, from the moment we started the reservation, were extremely receptive and resolute. The small unforeseen events that occurred were promptly resolved.
