Pousada Das Canoas

We stayed for to night. Super cool place and remote an quite. Beautiful beach and good for kiting when it is the right wind and tide. The breakfast was super good and nice to eat in the 2 floor whit a nice view of the ocean. We also had 2 dinners witch we was also very happy about. The place is cool and very relaxt whit a lot of chill out areas. The room was great and big comfortable bed. The only thing that we toght about that was mosquitos that came in durning the night I guess from the window. Exapt from that everything was great! The stuff and the owner are super cool!

This was my second time staying at the hotel The first time I went my grandparents, mom and husband. They all loved it! This time, we were in a group of 12 people and we were all very happy with the hotel! Cozy, great breakfast options, clean and INCREDIBLE staff! all very helpful booking trips and giving us directions. Also, great location, very close to the old city, dock for boat trips, laundry mats and restaurants! Their English wasn't great, but we were able to communicate just fine.

This is a low priced hotel, and for the money, it's a great value. It sits about three blocks from the no-cars section, so you can drive to it, and it's a block over from the bus station. The woman at the front desk was wonderful in getting us set up w/ tours. No English spoken. There is a small pool which is great for keeping the kids entertained, and is one of the few pools this close to the historic district. The game room isn't well maintained, so discount it from your consideration.
