MERCURE FLORIANOPOLIS ITACORUBI

The hotel has lived better days and is no longer a 4 star. In winter there is no central heating, the pool (which should be heated) was cold. The breakfast also left to be desired, was more for Ibis than Mercure. The service is the only thing that remains deserving 4 stars, we were very well served, with a lot of sympathy and agility. In short: needs to improve its structure

Careful staff and request. But accommodations much to desire. Cracked linen, tough towels and needing whitening. Side light white, the ideal would be the yellow or lower power. There is no socket on the side of the beds. And USB socket, forget! Good breakfast. I like brown bread, but if you like white is the ideal place. Agile staff in replacing and cleaning the tables.

I stayed for 4 nights with wife and children (10 and 12 years old). Double room (2 double beds). Everything was working fine. Bathroom with good equipment and amenities. Breakfast ok. Good beds. Parking is paid per part (36 daily). There is a restaurant (which seems outsourced) beneath the hotel, which is pretty good and has good variety. The location is quite nice, as there is good trade nearby (bakery, pharmacy and gas station in front). But if you want to stay near some beach (to go on foot), you should look for another hotel. I found it very convenient and with a good cost-benefit ratio.
