Praiatur Express

We had a terrible and disrespectful experience at this establishment mainly due to the attitude of the receptionist on 05/07/24. We planned to stay for two nights to continue our trip. When we arrived around 11:30am, people connected to the hotel were chatting with a car parked right on the entrance ramp, a place designated for boarding and disembarking, which forced me to get out of the Uber and ask them to leave the space free so we wouldn't have to climb ramp with 3 suitcases. The beach town is empty, we are in very low season, yet the receptionist informed us that check-in would only be strictly allowed at 2pm. We had to wait around 2 and a half hours sitting on a hard wooden bench, which was super uncomfortable without even an armchair or cushion to relieve the pressure on our spine. It was only at 2pm that the check-in took place, and it was announced that the hotel was under construction and that we would have to carry luggage up several flights of stairs. It turns out that my husband is a 76-year-old elderly man with asthma, the act of climbing stairs causes a respiratory crisis . We were forced to give up and scramble to find another last-minute accommodation. This receptionist is a totally insensitive and unprepared person. They don't know the meaning of the words welcoming and empathy. This type of person should never work welcoming the public. At the very least, when we arrived, it would have been mandatory to warn us about the impossibility of using the elevator, but they chose to omit it and leave us waiting for more than two and a half hours in total discomfort! This does not happen to any human being, especially the elderly. Reprehensible and disrespectful attitude. We have never experienced anything like this in the hundreds of times we have stayed in Brazil and abroad. They do a disservice to those looking for comfort and rest. Worst establishment we had the displeasure of visiting. Luckily, just a few steps away, we were very well received and welcomed by kind people at the Favareto hotel.

Great cost/benefit choice. Pleasant experience from reception, accommodation, breakfast, parking (covered and open), and checkout. Close to all types of shops and restaurant options. Close to the sea. I recommend and will be back.
