Kiulap Plaza Hotel

This spartan hotel is situated in one of the more vibrant townships in the Brunei Capital. It offers a very nice breakfast buffet over the weekend but for weekday, breakfast is served to the room. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a supermarket and departmental store just opposite the hotel.

I would never reccommend this hotel to anyone. the cleanliness is appauling, the room is dirty, there is literally mold, bedbugs. also they lack the essential amenities. couldnt even find one tissue box???

For a 3 star hotel its not too bad. It has everything you need for a short stay or business trip. Rooms clean and tidy but old decor. Breakfast very average but ok. The big let down here is the service from reception. 2 times on an evening when I go to reception I always find the male staff with feet up on the desk, head phones plugged in to there phones playing games. Its a feeling as I've just disturbed there gaming level..and not a feeling of customer care or support. This mobile phone culture is equally the same throughout the hotel. The other morning the girl cooking my egg had a phone in one hand and the frying pan in the other, hence my egg was not correct. The management need to be aware of this.
