Seaview Hotel

Though the building kinda old but it kept cleaned. Get a room with a sea view. Room also hav a bath tub. Wifi available in the room . Provide toiletries. The location also can be access by public bus . Supermarket and coffeebean the same building with the hotel

The staff were friendly and efficient. The location is excellent, one minute walk to the beach (which unfortunately, like the rest of Brunei, has lots of rubbish on it). There's a supermarket and a coffee shop right next door as well as a restaurant. The apartment, though old, was spotless and extremely well equipped with not only the usual plates, cutlery, glasses etc but also roasting tins, pots and pans etc. I booked a 2 bedroom apartment for a family of five. Only 2 towels were provided. We were charged extra for another 3 towels, BND 3 each if i recall correctly. This was the only negative experience that i had. Bring your own towels if there are more than two of you! Be aware that there is a good pool, but unfortunately it's closed at the moment due to Covid-19

I did a couple of Jungle warfare courses in Brunei, in Tutong 1978. They gave us all a night off and we went drinking in the Sea View,.. Unfortunately myself and the lads I was with got barred, for fighting with 2 German Oil Engineers I put a bar stool through a window with a Sea View in the back bar.. The Sultan (angry) wanted us locked up in one of his jails, But, our Company Commander assured him that we’d be dealt with, still paying for it... Happy memories. I returned a few Months later and had a great meal in there, I would like to offer belated apologies to the hotel for my behaviour that night, I was only 22.. Go places with the Royal Green Jackets we used to say.. Strange seeing it again the frontage hasn’t changed much...
