Ikonomov Spa

The location is fantastic and the hosts were really friendly and welcoming! It’s a charming house with a cozy tavern where we enjoyed our breakfast. The menu was traditional and well selected and it included some food the hosts make themselves - the jam, pancakes and banitsa are favorites. Definitely recommend.

I new on a 3 day getaway from the big city and stayed at Ikonomov SPA Hotel. I was welcomed warmly by the lovely family that runs the hotel. Rooms are very clean and mine had a nice view to the city roofs and the mountain. Breakfast is more than I could take, included some nice local stuff, different each day. The location can not be better - right next to the central street; a nice 8-10 minutes walk to the Old Town square and city center; at the same time some 5 minutes away fro the ski lift gondola. loved talking to Dimitar and Nelly, and meeting their lovely dog. Thank you for the hospitality and a great time spent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay. The breakfast was excellent and a great way to start the day pre-skiing. The rooms were basic but perfectly reasonable. The owner was very accommodating and has allowed us to keep our room until our taxi comes at 15:30. The hotel was 5 min walk from the gondola at most! All in all I would thoroughly recommend staying here.
