Lovely studio with a balcony, nice bathroom and fully working kitchen. Easy to check-in and the receptionist was very helpful. Was only 5 minutes walk at most from the bottom of the ski slopes and we were able to leave our ski's there after the days skiing which is really helpful. Loads of bars and restaurants and take-away stations and a super-market really near the apartments. Nothing bad to say about it at all.

The registry was two streets away, which made us walk back and forth with our heavy baggage. When we arrived at the apartments we found very good looking rooms, yet without any heat. They were so cold that no one wanted to stay in for a long time. After we asked the maintenance man the heat was repaired. The pleasant surprise was the fully furnished kitchen with all the kitchen utilities you might need. The rooms were clean and cozy. The apartment had cable TV, radio and CD player. There was a shuttle to the ski lift every hour or so. There was no restaurant in the hotel (if you don't wanna cook by yourself) but the town center was near so we were able to visit one or two of the great variety of restaurants and pubs in the town. The night life was nice too. There ware a several bars and discos with all sorts of music (although the primary style was the local pop-folk). As a conclusion the apartments were nice, the service was well and the price was awesome.

We booked the snowplough apartments through Balkan holidays as part of a last minute deal. For £300 each including everything from flights down to ski lessons we were not expecting a lot and were very pleasantly suprised. We had room A2 which is one of the 1 bed apartments between 3 of us. This was split over two floors with a sitting room (with pull out double bed) and double bedroom on the first floor, and the bathroom, and kitchen diner downstairs. The apartment was very spacious and we were especially impressed with the almost fully equipped kitchen (after years of dissapointing kitchenettes on previous skiing holidays). Friends of ours staying in a "2 bed" apartment above us had similar space to us but on one level and including a balcony. Their second bedroom was infact part of the open plan living space. The wholoe apartment block is obviously quite a new development, and is basic but clean and neat. Housekeeping came round every day to replace towels and empty bins. We weren't expected to clean the apartments before we left and we didn't have to put down a deposit on the rooms which was good. The location of the apartments is the only flaw in the otherwise brilliant accommodation. Turning right and then left out of the apartments puts you on the road to the gondola, but it is at least 15 minutes, which can feel a lot longer at the end of the day. It is also a similar distance to the majority of the bars, pubs, and restaurants. It is close to some food shops that are very reasonable. If you don't want to walk there is a shuttle bus to the gondola which is available throughout the day but we never made use of it. Overall excellent value for money, with very friendly staff and good rooms. If you are looking to go skiing on a budget then Snowplough Apartments are ideal-Just don't say that I didn't warn you about the walk.
