Beautiful hotel, a little further out from the Gondola but the shuttle bus service is spot on. It’s a short which is actually quite nice on the legs after a full day of skiing.. Staff are super friendly, Spa is beautiful - worth going for the Spa alone! Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Saint Ivan Rilski in Bansko for New Year, and unfortunately the experience did not meet expectations, especially considering the high price for the holiday period. The hotel felt overpriced for what was offered. Both the pools and some of the common areas were cold, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the facilities, particularly during winter. This was one of the biggest disappointments of our stay. On a positive note, the girls at the children’s play centre were very kind and attentive, which we really appreciated. The New Year’s dinner itself was fine — decent food and well organized. Overall, the all-inclusive package is not worth the cost. For the price paid, we expected better facilities, warmer pools, and more value. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t choose this hotel again for New Year.
