Grand Victoria

I spent a wonderful vacation at this hotel. It has a private beach, and the food is excellent—plentiful and very varied; I’d say it caters to even the pickiest eaters. The rooms are clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. There is a show every evening and unlimited drinks—in a word: excellent. I highly recommend it, especially to families with children!

The hotel was good. There was a wide selection of food in the main restaurant and the bars offered plenty of drinks along with great staff. The Italian à la carte restaurant, however, was a bit of a parody of Italy. Whereas the Asian restaurant was perfect. One downside was the insufficient number of sun loungers on the beach for such a large hotel. The absolute worst part was the extra bed provided three adults. It was a fold-out chair made of three sections placed directly on the floor. You could feel every section digging into you, and the bed was so short that your feet would hang off the end. I’m attaching a photo of a 14 years old, even for them, the bed was too short. My back still hurts, they really ought to include a massage with it automatically 😊

The experience was an unpleasant one because: 1. It is not ultra all‑inclusive. At night, even though the official website says they offer sandwiches and other items, they don’t. 2. The shower is too small. 3. For a family with two small children, you have to pay for the second child, even though other hotels don’t charge for this. 4. The reception staff is slow, and their services leave much to be desired (it feels like they don’t like their job). 5. Limited spots on the beach. 6. At ultra all‑inclusive, you have to wait in line to enter and eat. 7. They don’t have food variety; at least breakfast is the same every day. One good thing is the beach — it’s gorgeous.
