St.Stefan

This was our experience of the "family" hotel. Children sat patiently outside whilst me and my wife went to look at the menu inside, then what I'm assuming is the owner took the menus off us and started loudly and angrily saying "NO KIDS NO KIDS!!!!" I can only assume he was angry at his female member of staff for not instantly shooing us off 🙄 No one was inside, and there was only one couple sitting outside. The place was what can only be described as dead. Very strange behaviour.

The hotel has very nice and clean rooms with air conditioning and flat-screen TV in the historic old town of Nessebar. The hotel is located directly opposite St. Stephan Church. Some rooms offer a very beautiful view over the Black Sea. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was nothing to complain about. It was all very clean. The bed was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was rich and very delicious, served in the on-site restaurant. The staff was very nice and friendly as well as helpful. Credit card payment is also possible. Parking is only available at the entrance to the old town on the designated parking areas. No cars are allowed in the old town or directly in front of the hotel. The rooms are also slightly more expensive due to the location of the hotel. Would stay there again if I stay in the old town of Nessebar. Just because of the superb view over the Black Sea I would stay there. The staff also speaks English. Highly recommended hotel with all amenities!

Thank you to our hosts for their family welcome, the hearty breakfast, the view of the Black Sea and the rooftop where a seagull mom fed her cubs! After a few unsuccessful experiences in Bulgaria, this one remains our best memory
