Stream Resort

Beautiful hotel, suitable for winter sports enthusiasts. The hotel is near the initial station of the lift Malina. Rooms are clean, and central heating works fine. After sport in the mountain, you could use small and nice SPA center for relax.

Pamporovo as a spot was good, everything was close and not far from the resort. It is what you pay for at the end of the day. Be prepared that pictures on the website or booking.com give you completely different perception to what the reality is! The resort is dated, rooms are very dated and definitely need an upgrade and a refresh. There are a lot of maintenance faults in the resort - the shower in the bathroom leaks (more like pouring not leaking) from the shower tray on to the main floor - if you wanted to use a sink after you had a shower you better get ready to get wet. The shower's outlet next to the indoor pool is blocked therefore all the water leaks out on the floor travelling towards the pool... people kicking off as somehow its your fault that you have a shower in the designated shower but the pipe is blocked so the water goes out the shower tray! The 'jacquzzi' is just a round designated area of the main pool without an actual jacquzzi (bizzare). Not enough parking spaces therefore you will be shuffling your car from one place to another. The stove in the kitchen either does not work or takes 20 mins (no exaggeration). The cleaners that clean your room need a medal for the 'most unnoticeable cleaning' as you literally cannot tell the difference between the room that has been cleaned and the one that has not, all they do is replace the towels and empty bins! The 'ski depot' next to the resort doesn't do snowboards just skis and the guy does not speak English at all - I don't like pointing out limited English when I'm abroad as I think its quite ignorant (its me that is visiting their country) but I think these challenges need to be highlighted for someone who is looking to travel there. The food in the restaurant is ok, some dishes are quite nice but the service is mega awful! Firstly they don't speak English at all (again same as above don't like pointing this out but its a challenge hence it needs to be highlighted), they're very slow, they bring a side dish 10 mins after they brought your main part of the dish, they forget parts of the order. Personally it was not worth what I paid for it and I would not return there, Pamporovo yes, Stream resort no! The reason for 2 stars is that they were some positives - the location is literally less than 2 minutes drive from one of the main slopes and they also do shuttle to that slope.

The staff are not help full, when you can find them. We waited 1,40 minutes for dinner in the end i went to the kitchen lift and found our food in there. The rooms are very basick but clean. Location is good if your driving around Rodopi but it not good for local stuff. It was cheap so you get what you pay for.
