- the hotel offers no breakfast
- only a shaby cove lighting on the staircase, the stairs are of black marble
- the room smelled horrible like cigar smoke, the receptionist told me I booked a smoker room even if I showed her the opposite
- in four days no cleaning at all in the room
- no lighting on the working desk
- empty mini bar
- broken gasket at the window, the wind could blow the curtains away
- no net on the window, hence mosquitoes
- the water in the shower is dripping with low pressure
- TV didn't work at all
- WiFi very low speed
- hard mattress
- between the bathroom and the sleeping area is only a kinky glass wall with some broken shades
- very narrow garage
- the other receptionist hardly greets back

I wanted to stay in Lozenets, an upscale section of Sofia for this visit to Bulgaria's Capitol City. I was not disappointed! This is a very high quality hotel, and I couldn't say enough great things about the staff. Each person at Hotel Fashion was kind, efficient and knowledgeable.
The room was extremely modern and comfortable. I had a partial view of Mt. Vitosha and multiple sockets for my electronics. The bathroom was accompanied by personalized shampoo and body wash, in comparison to other hotels that have a huge pump/container setup. In my opinion, this individual, portable solution is more sanitary than the new, alternative wall-mounted jugs of other hotels even at the 5-star level. It was also of very high quality.
The room also contained a safe, stocked refrigerator (I didn't try anything in it) and a breakfast was on offer, which I didn't utilize. Paradise Mall and many quality coffee houses were very close. There was also a garage within our hotel. Everything was spotless, new and fresh.
Please note, the TripAdvisor images, especially the first few showing a pool and spa are inaccurate. This is from a pay-spa across the street. The hotel made it clear to me upon check-in that these images are inaccurate. I'm any event, this hotel doesn't need a pool/spa to earn my high recommendations.
I will certainly return. A special note of thanks to Gabriela, who deserves to be recognized for her great service and kindness. 5 stars!

Let's start with the bad points. The chair in the bedroom isn't very comfortable.
That's it! Nothing else negative to say; everything was good.
The room (booked via booking.com) was great value. As a business traveler in the UK I am used to Premier Inn. This room was half the price and twice the quality (how do they do that?). It was a spacious, modern, boutique style room. Everything worked, and nothing was dirty or dusty. Probably the only thing I'd like to see is a coffee maker in the room.
The staff were all helpful and friendly, and spoke excellent English (as does seemingly everyone under 30). Breakfast at the hotel was the usual "Continental" affair, but it did feature a good range of cheese and meats. Toast was available and the coffee was very nice.
The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the Paradise Centre with all it's attractions, such as shops, cinema and casino. There is a Metro station right by the Paradise Centre, so journeys into the city centre should be easy enough.
There is a bar/restaurant just around the corner open 08:00 until late, so plenty of opportunity to get breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Blend has a limited menu, but was also good value for money. I went out on my own for a walk in the evening & didn't feel at all uncomfortable or threatened. The area where the hotel is situated seems to be quite up-and-coming (witness the BMW's and Volvo 4x4's).
So, to sum up, if I have to go back to Sofia for work Hotel fashion will be my first choice to stay.
