Royal Inn

A good hotel only a few minutes away from Aeon. You can walk a few miles to S21 too. The hotel has a bathtub and comes with a good breakfast. It was a bit dusty when we came but they improved a lot. Found it odd when we came at 11.30 pm and the hotel was gated but we figured out that it was near a club that probably has reckless drunk people but we encountered nothing. Staff is friendly and very, very helpful

It's an older Hotel , but the room is clean and comfortable. Its located on the main road to Aoen Mall and eazy access to a lot of restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. Shower was good, A/C was efficient and wi-fi was strong.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our PP stay. We arrived to check-in at 7am, and although official check-in time wasn't until 2pm, the guy behind the desk was very lenient and let us book in early which was a great introduction into our visit. We also booked a twin room to save money, but the room wasn't available so we were upgraded to a double which was more good news. Breakfast is very basic, but we happened to go to Providores which was a new-cum modernised cafe on the other side of the road, albeit was a bit pricey. Location of The Royal Inn was ideal for most of the city's attractions, but tuk-tuks are readily on standby to offer their services. We had a problem resetting the room safe, but when we alerted a member of reception, they promptly dealt with the matter. Shower was good, A/C was efficient and wi-fi was strong. The staff most certainly do their job well, but for us it was a great stay seeing that we only booked the day before. Our experience led us to give it a 4 star rating, but the actual hotel is probably a 3 star...
