Our favourite hotel on our whole family south east Asia adventure. Amazing Cambodian architecture, culture & team. One of the friendliest must authentic hotels we’ve stayed in, ever. Beautiful people attentive staff. Dinner was excellent & breakfast was good too. Made us really think about booking with big chains & ensure we book with hotels owned & run by nationals of the country we visit. Huge rooms, massive bathroom. So tranquil & peaceful just like the Cambodian people. But only $5 in a TukTuk into the busy but brilliant Siam Reap. A magical place, we can’t wait to return. The kids loved it as did we. Beautiful Spa, wish I’d taken advantage of the t as my feet were aching after trekking round the Angkor temples.

We spent 6 days here, and loved it.
It is important to start with the fact the we were here at the end of March which is a relatively calm period for Siem Reap, so we were very fortunate to be in the hotel when it was very, very quiet, this was great for us.
The hotel is slightly out of town, so either a scooter , which we chose to do, or tuc-tucs are a necessity to go back and forth into town.
This is Cambodia and the level of hotel was easily in the upper range. Everything was very, very clean and the gardens are truly impeccable.
We had one of the villas so our rom was large, comfortable and well planned out. Room service was very good, each evening the bed was turned down.
Due to this being the quiet period we were often the only people at either of the two large pools, again this was excellent.
We had a voucher for a 60 minute massage and we thought it would be like a Thai massage but it is truly a whole other experience. Take the opportunity and try their massages, they are in a lovely building and the massages are done in little private chambers. There is a tempe theme which is very pleasant. You will not forget this style of massage. Be careful, do not ask for a hard massage , remain on the soft one as it is already surprising, in a good way.
During our stay everyone was very friendly and it was obvious they were making an effort for us to be comfortable, but it was discreet and welcomed.
It is important to realize that this is Cambodia and not the center of Manhatten. We have been in fancier, more luxury hotels but we found this to be a very, very good hotel. Cambodia does not have all the amenities and access to everything that we would expect elsewhere but I can wholeheartedly state that we very much appreciated our stay and we would have no hesitation in returning.
