This place has blown our minds it is a little out of town which for us is a bonus to escape the bustle of the town. The service is genuine and friendly, the room is lovely clean and cool, the gardens are so nice. Everyone takes the time to chat and Homm the concierge helped organise all tours and tuk tuk drivers. Just can't believe how luxurious everything is can't fault a thing.

We have been to Siem Reap before and wanted to try something different this time, which is why we booked this hotel. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a big mistake for us. The price-performance ratio is simply not good. There are many much nicer and more modern hotels in Siem Reap available for a lower price. We honestly do not feel comfortable here at all. The overall atmosphere simply does not feel good to us. Another disappointing point was the breakfast situation. The hotel advertised a breakfast buffet, but from the beginning we were told that the buffet would only be available on the first day and that the following days would be à la carte because there are not enough guests staying here. When we explained that we specifically booked the hotel with a breakfast buffet included, they offered to prepare a small private buffet just for us, but that was not really the point and not something we wanted. Because of this, we submitted a cancellation request through Booking.com, even though the reservation was non-refundable. We also spoke directly with the reception staff and explained the entire situation in detail. Yesterday, the staff kept telling us that they had not received anything from Booking.com and tried to avoid the issue instead of helping us properly. However, this morning we saw through Booking.com that the hotel had actively declined the complimentary cancellation request. So the request clearly did arrive, and the hotel consciously decided not to approve it because the booking was marked as non-refundable. Now we are stuck staying here even though we really do not enjoy it. The bungalow feels a bit dated. There are also countless hiding spots for mosquitoes, which makes the stay even more uncomfortable. It is honestly disappointing because there are so many beautiful places in Siem Reap where we could have stayed instead. We would definitely not book this property again and would strongly recommend that others research carefully before booking. We personally cannot recommend staying here.

The Palace was amazing, clean and pride with care was obvious. Our room was large and comfortable also very clean. The staff were all friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed. The pool area and plantings were beautiful. This was much more than we expected! Thank you
